(3 Night/ 4 Days) Aswan – Luxor
Ready for an adventure that blows your average vacation outta the water? Picture this: five days floating down the Nile, ancient wonders left and right, some killer sunsets—and zero work emails.
Let’s kick things off in Luxor (yeah, the one you’ve seen on all those National Geographic specials). East Bank? Carnak and Luxor Temples, straight-up mind-blowing columns and spooky echoes of pharaohs past. Flip to the West Bank—the Valley of the Kings is basically a VIP pass to ancient tombs, and Hatshepsut’s temple is just flexing on every monument in sight. And hey, if you feel like making your Instagram followers jealous, grab a sunrise hot air balloon ride over those golden sands. Unreal.
Then, we set sail. Edfu: Ancient Egyptian “Temple Goals” courtesy of Horus. Kom Ombo’s got this weird thing—double temples for Sobek (the croc god—yeah, wild) and Horus again. Onboard? Afternoons sipping tea (pinkies up, if you must), themed dinners, and the riotous Galabeya party where you’ll look ridiculous in Egyptian dress, but that’s half the fun.
Last stop: Aswan. Philae Temple, all elegance and stories. You can squeeze in a trip to a Nubian village by cute little boat, if you’re keen. Hardcore history buffs—don’t miss the pre-dawn mission to Abu Simbel. Think giant statues and pure, goosebump-inducing awe.
Basically, the itinerary’s the best kind of mix—just the right amount of dusty history and feet-up-on-the-sundeck lazy time. Perfect for newbies and know-it-alls. Go ahead, book it. Unless you hate joy.
The not-so-small print:
– You’ll get whisked around in a fancy, air-conditioned ride, not some dodgy minivan.
– Birthday on board? Cake’s on us (no, seriously).
– Bookings only really count once we say so. Y’know, papers signed, money in the bank.
– Prices could change if the government sneezes and changes taxes. Just how it is.
– Once you pay and get your official confirmation, you’re locked in. No take-backs (unless you know time travel).
